But when Kira falls into forbidden love with Sonny, her jealous sisters take advantage of the situation and chaos abounds.

Set in a small town beauty shop in Louisiana on the wedding day of one its favorite patrons, Shelby. A sweet, young and pretty diabetic, Shelby enjoys sharing her excitement with the other women who meet regularly to chat and gossip about men, marriage and the latest hairstyles. Together the women form a sense of community that is both warmly good-natured and delightfully real. When Shelby suffers a slight diabetic attack, we see a tenderness emanating from the spirit of these indomitable women.

Wilbur, the runty barnyard pig is nursed to good health by the farmer's daughter only to discover that he will be the Christmas Ham. Charlotte, his dear friend the spider, spins an elaborate web to save his life and he becomes the prize-winning pig at the county fair, the most famous pig ever. Brimming with love, laughter and delight!

Millie Dillmount moves to New York City to find a job and marry the boss - a thoroughly modern decision for a young woman in 1922, when women were just entering the workforce. However, as she begins her new life, it seems girls in her boarding house are mysteriously disappearing. It's a hilarious musical tale of unrequited love, adventure, intrigue and terrific dance numbers as Millie seeks love in the Big Apple.
